
These are Pecan Pound cake loaves. They are full of pecans and butter, a great combination!
This would make a great dessert cake or a breakfast treat with coffee or tea!
- 1 cup softened butter
- 6 eggs
- 3 cups sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 cup sour cream
- 3 cups of flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 cups chopped pecans



First preheat your oven to 350 degrees
Now prepare 3 – 8×3 pans, spray well, place on a parchment lined baking sheet
Now place the butter and sugar into your mixer bowl, whip well
Add the eggs, vanilla and sour cream, blend well.
Now add the flour, salt and baking soda and the chopped pecans, blend well
Now divide the batter between your 3 pans
Bake for 35 minutes or until a skewer comes out clean.


Let cool about 10 minutes, remove from pans and place on rack to cool completely.
Now cut a big slice and enjoy!
