This is a delicious pound cake. It has a really good texture and a swirl of strawberry throughout. It is so delicious! I hope you give this one a try!

- 3 sticks butter, softened
- 3 cups sugar
- 5 eggs
- 3 cups flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup milk
- 1 small box cheesecake pudding
Swirl ingredients:
- 1 small box strawberry jello
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
- 2 Tablespoons strawberry preserves
- 1/2 cup of the cake batter
Glaze ingredients:
- 1/2 block of cream cheese
- 4 cups powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- a few tablespoons milk
Place your butter and sugar into your mixer bowl, mix till well blended and fluffy. Now add the eggs, flour, baking powder, mix well. Now add milk, cheesecake pudding and flour.
Now in a small bowl mix 1/2 cup batter, strawberry jello, strawberry preserves and vanilla. Stir well by hand, set aside.
Preheat your oven to 325*

Grease your cake pan well. Fill your pan with half the batter, then drop half of the swirl mixture over the batter. Now swirl that in with a table knife. Now cover that mixture with the rest of the cake batter. Now put the rest of the swirl around the cake batter and swirl with a table knife.
Place your cake into your preheated oven. Bake for 1 hour, test with a skewer, bake more if needed. (Sometimes you may need to bake an additional 30 mins. but I do this in 10-minute intervals)
Remove the cake and place on a cooling rack till cool enough to unmold from the pan onto a cake plate. Cool cake till completely cool.

Now it’s time to make the glaze. Mix the glaze, add milk a tablespoon at a time until you get the consistency you want. You can drizzle it or over the entire cake, as I did.

Now is the time to cut a slice, get a cup of coffee and enjoy!!
