Apple Fritter Bread

This is Apple Fritter Bread. It is super delicious! It makes a perfect breakfast treat, snack or dessert. It is simple to make. I hope you try it!

My recipe makes 1 loaf, but I had lots of apples to use up so I made 2!

  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoons cinnamon

Mix the brown sugar and cinnamon together, set aside

  • 1/2 cup softened butter
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 1 1/2 cups flour
  • 1 3/4 baking powder
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 3 apples cored and chopped

Preheat your oven to 350*

Now prepare your pan with pan spray (9×5 loaf pan)

Now mix the brown sugar and cinnamon and set aside

Now chop your apples and set aside

Place the butter and sugar into your mixer bowl. Beat till well mixed.

Add the eggs and vanilla. Blend well. Add flour, baking soda and milk. Mix till well blended.

Now place 1/2 of the batter into your pan, spread to fill.

Take half of the apples and place on top of the batter, then sprinkle half of the brown sugar/cinnamon mixture over the apples.

Now carefully spread the rest of your batter over the apples. Place the rest of the apples on the batter, then sprinkle with the rest of the cinnamon mixture.

Now place your bread in the hot oven and bake for 40, test then with a skewer and bake at 5 minute intervals till done. I baked mine 50 minutes.

Now that your bread is finished, let it cool.

For the glaze:

Mix about 1 cup powdered sugar and a little bit of milk to get the right consistency to drizzle over your cake, as shown.

When cool, grab a cup of coffee, cut a slice of Apple Fritter Bread and enjoy!! Oh so good!!
