These are a fantastic pastry and is very easy to make! You can use frozen puff pastry or make your own.(I know how to make my own, it is time consuming, but I get so busy it is easier to use frozen) I used frozen puff pastry and pie filling , cherry and apple.
You will love these! Just pick your flavor of filling or make some of your own. I have a couple I like to use.
I hope you try them!
- 1 package puff pastry
- 1 can of pie filling (or 2 if you want 2 flavors, which is what I did)
- 1 egg blended with a tablespoon of water and a pinch of salt (classic egg wash)

Now let’s make our pastries! I love these !
First pre-heat your oven to 400*

Take your thawed puff pastry and roll one sheet of it out on a lightly floured surface. Now divide it into thirds and then into thirds from the sides. (See the photo above)
You will have 9 pieces per sheet (you get 2 sheets in a package, enough to make 18)
On each square, you cut an L on each side, but do not cut the entire L, leave a small portion in tack. (see the photos)

Now brush the edges with egg wash, then carefully fold the pastry from one corner over to the other corner.

Now carefully place on your baking sheet, lined with a silicone mat or parchment paper.
Now egg wash each pastry
Bake in a pre-heated 400* oven for about 10-12 minutes

Now cool your pastry shells,
Fill each one with your desired filling (sometimes you need to punch the center of the baked pastry down to make room for the filling)
It only takes about a tablespoon of filling per pastry
Now mix up a simple glaze and drizzle over the top.

Now grab a cup of coffee, a pastry or 2 and enjoy!
