Day Ten of the Twelve Days of Christmas Cookies….HELLO DOLLIES!

This is a very simple cookie I got from my oldest great nephew; he is now a grown man with kiddies of his own. They are very easy to make. You will need a 9 x 13 pan for these. They are yummy!

  • 6 tablespoons melted butter
  • 2 cups grahm cracker crumbs
  • 1 bag chocolate chips
  • 1 1/2 cups coconut
  • 1 1/2 cups chopped pecans
  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk

First heat your oven to 350*

Now line your pan with foil or parchment so that it goes up the sides and into the corners (this makes it easy to get the cookies out of the pan) Then spray the foil or parchment.

Now mix the butter and graham crumbs together and press into the bottom of the pan. Now cover that with the chocolate chips, spreading them evenly to the edges of the pan. Now spread the coconut to the edges of the pan. Now cover the whole thing with the sweetened condensed milk. Use an offset spatula if needed, with very gentle motions as to not disturb the layers you just made.

Now bake your cookies for about 22 minutes, do not over-bake. Let them cool in the pan, lift out when cool, then cut them into squares.

Now grab a cup of coffee, a Hello Dollie and enjoy!
